Sixty small cut-off wheels and four mandrels is the right way to buy rotary tool discs: they are consumed quickly, they chip if dropped, and the mandrel is the piece that disappears. The dimensions are published properly — 1-1/4 in, 32 mm, on a 3 mm (0.12 in) mandrel — and the tools it fits are named rather than implied.

Two things on the page are confused. The material bullet says reinforced fiberglass, which is what a resin-bonded cut-off wheel is, and the closing safety note calls it a “diamond cutting wheel”, which it is not. The list of materials follows from the same confusion: gems, glass, ceramics and porcelain tiles belong to a diamond wheel, while a resin wheel is for metal — bolts, screws, small section, and the things a rotary tool is actually reached for.

The figure that is missing is the one this hub asks for first. Rotary tools run to thirty or thirty-five thousand revolutions a minute, several times an angle grinder, and a small resin wheel has to be rated for it. The rotary wheels from EZARC on this shelf publish 45,000 rpm and cite EN 12413 by name. Here there is no number, and the listing’s own warning that the wheel “will break under a extreme pressure” is the whole of what it says about the subject.

The questions welders ask

Is it fiberglass or diamond?

Fiberglass-reinforced resin. The material bullet says so — "Made of reinforced fiberglass" — and the price confirms it; sixty diamond wheels would cost many times this. The safety note at the end nonetheless reads "please must wear gloves and goggles when using diamond cutting wheel", which is pasted from a different product. The distinction matters because a resin wheel cuts metal and chews glass, while a diamond wheel does the reverse.

Why does the missing speed rating matter more on a rotary tool?

Because rotary tools spin far faster than angle grinders. A 4-1/2 in angle grinder runs at 11,000 to 13,000 rpm; a Dremel-pattern tool runs to 30,000 or 35,000, and a small resin wheel has to be rated for that. The EZARC rotary wheels on this shelf publish 45,000 rpm and cite EN 12413. This listing publishes no figure at all, which on a wheel that small and that fast is the omission that matters most.
