The same seven codes, the same typo, two dollars less
LYMMIYTC SDJCR1212H07, 21-piece 12 mm kit
A seven-holder kit indistinguishable on its published data from the VERFUTHL kit above it — down to an invalid holder code both listings print.
Seven holders, fourteen inserts, eight wrenches, 40Cr steel with anti-rust oil, a 12 mm (0.47 in) shank, and a heading that says twenty-one pieces for contents that add to twenty-nine. All of that is also true, word for word in places, of the VERFUTHL kit directly above it on this shelf.
The detail that settles it is a typing error. Both listings print the holder code SDNCN12120H07, which has five digits where an ISO designation carries four for a 12 by 12 mm (0.47 in) shank — the real holder is an SDNCN1212H07. Two brands, two references, two prices, one misspelled code in the same position in the same list of seven.
Taken on its own this is a reasonable kit: seven holders covering turning, grooving, threading and boring, with a spare insert edge for each and a wrench for every holder, in a correctly named alloy steel. What it does not publish is any insert designation, so the second purchase — the one you make when an edge chips — has to be worked out by measuring the pocket. And nothing is said about rake geometry, which this hub’s buying tip makes the first question for a bench machine.

The questions welders ask
Is this the same kit as the VERFUTHL one?
Nothing published separates them. Both list seven holders by designation and the seven are the same — SCLCR1212H06, SNR0012M11, SDJCR1212H07, SDNCN12120H07, MGEHR1212-2, SER1212H16, S12M-SCLCR06 — including the invalid five-digit code. Both state fourteen inserts and eight wrenches. Both describe the holders as 40Cr with anti-rust oil. Both are headed 21 pieces. The brands, the references and the prices differ. Neither page mentions the other, and which company made either is not something either says.
Which should I buy?
On the published data, whichever is cheaper when you look. The difference between them at the time of writing is about two dollars. What neither publishes is the insert designations, so neither tells you what to order when an edge chips — for that, the Accusize set on this shelf names every holder and the insert that belongs in it.
