This category is full of machines from brands invented for a single marketplace listing. They arrive, they sell for a season, and when the contact tip thread turns out to be non-standard or the feed roller wears, there is nobody to ask. IPOTOOLS publishes a company name and a street address in Friedrichshafen and states a seven-year warranty. Whether you ever use it is not the point; the point is that spares and answers have a destination.
MIG/MAG under gas, gasless flux-cored, and MMA stick — the three processes that cover almost all hobby work. The display is digital, which is worth more than it sounds: it lets you record the settings that worked on a given thickness and dial them back exactly, rather than remembering where a knob pointed.
At 360 mm (14.2 in) long and around 8 kg (17.6 lb), it is a machine you carry to the work rather than the other way round. That is the practical difference between this and the trolley-mounted transformer machines that cost three times as much.
No synergic control: voltage and wire speed are set independently, and getting them wrong is the standard beginner experience. No inductance adjustment either, so the arc is as smooth as the manufacturer set it — on 1 mm (0.04 in) sheet that means more spatter than a machine with the control, and a flap disc afterwards.
Neither is a fault. They are the two things the €330 machines add, and they are the reason to spend the extra if thin sheet is your regular work.

It means there is a company to write to. The value is not that the machine will be repaired for seven years — it is that a named importer with a registered address in Germany has more to lose from ignoring you than a marketplace seller with a randomly generated brand. On a category where half the listings are anonymous, that is the difference worth paying for at this price.
A shortcut. You set the voltage and the wire feed speed independently, and the two have to match the material thickness. The classic beginner fault is too much wire, which piles metal on top without fusing it — it looks like a weld and lifts off with a chisel. It is learnable in an afternoon with scrap and a chart, and a synergic machine simply starts you closer.
